Electrocab Emarat provides the complete set of Low Voltage (LV) cables to meet the requirements of the most recent updated standards such as BS 5467, BS 6346, BS 7889, IEC 60502-1 and all other international and national standards. LV Cables are generally used in distribution lines between the sub-station and the indoor application, and we therefore utilize a wide range of insulation, sheathing and additive materials to provide our customer with the exact solution.
We use Polyvinylchloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE), and Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) as insulation materials, combined with a wide range of screening and armouring materials to provide the required electrical & mechanical protection. For water protective solutions we use Lead & Lead Alloy Sheath or blocking tapes, and for the outer sheath protection we provide a wide range of compounds to give our cables the required characteristics such as flame retardance, water tightness, chemical, oil, acids or alcohol resistance, and many other properties according our customers’ specifications.
